Today (Sunday, 2/28) at approximately 3:45pm I witnessed a man publicly masturbating just inside the Broadway entrance to Isham Park, at the foot of the stone steps. Description: Black male, 5'10", late 40's-early 50's wearing a black coat with hood, had a small cardboard box as well as a small travel bag with several items, including plastic roses, at his side.

I reported the incident to 911, but please be vigilant.

Did he appear to be homeless?

Yes, but was not particularly unkempt or dirty. It was more the bag full of odd kick knacks and the fact that his coat was a bit shabby that gave me that impression.

I only ask cause there was a homeless guy that fits that descrip sleeping in the BOA vestibule on the corner of bway/207 on friday night, and that's not something I usually see...might be the same guy.

Oh, I passed that guy in that location on my way to the train at around 4:30 yesterday. I actually bumped into him because I slipped on the step above him; I kind of fell into him. I apologized and smiled sheepishly. He seemed really out of it and didn’t respond in any way. I felt sorry for him because he seemed mentally ill and in need of help.
